About NAPS

North American Power Systems was founded in June of 2003 by Doug Pierce. Mr. Pierce has over twenty years of battery industry experience in engineering and manufacturing as well as sales and marketing. His experience has spanned from Johnson Controls Inc. to Yuasa–Exide and Enersys Inc.

Mr. Pierce left Enersys in 2003 to start North American Power Systems as opportunities to source high quality Chinese batteries developed. He has developed a long–standing relationship with Shenzhen Ritar Power Co., Ltd., resulting in becoming the North American representative for the company.
